OOC POST =Tech specs.

I didn't want to post this before I drew him and all the details ._. But ah well. I've based his abilities on his G1 abilities, except scaled them down a bit, and made him, err, possible to actually beat (gotta love the G1 powergaming, good old days). The stat numbers were taken off the stats of Tracks that seem to be like, official, or at least made by someone who knows what they're doing. I did shift the numbers around just a little bit, to make it work better with my version of him.

Strength 7 (He ain't a brute force type, but still does pack a punch)

Intelligence 7 (You gotta be at least a bit intelligent to be able to the kind of fighting he does)

Speed 7 - full 10 in vehicle mode (He is a lot slower in robot mode than in car mode, not a fast runner)

Endurance 8

Rank 5

Courage 5 (not actually about being brave, he just dislikes getting his appearance ruined. He's not a coward though, just reluctant)

Firepower 8

Skill 8

Alt-Mode

Vehicle: Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
Lenght: 175.6 inches (446.02cm)
Width: 75.9 inches (192.7cm)
Height: 49 inches (124.4cm)
Colour: Dark blue

Pictures
Front
Side
Back

Alt-mode in flight mode:
- jet wings under rear fenders fold out.
- 4 locks on underside open, releasing a force field that lifts the vehicle to hover above the ground.
- massive jet turbines fold out from vehicle luggage space, the entire back of the car changing.
- rocket launchers rise above the turbines.
- magnetic stabilizers to keep him from flipping over in sharp turns.
- the turbine engine packs a powerful kick/thrust power which causes the vehicle to fly, just above the ground, at immense speed.

Robot mode

Height: 17 feet 4 inches (5.3m)
Weight: 2.2 tons (4850lbs)
- Jet engine turbines: 400kg (881lbs)

Detailed build.
- Tracks body is a masterpiece of small details and hundreds of joints, giving him a unmatched flexible movability. Yeah, he could give the circus rubberman a run for his money.

Helm visor/battle mask.
- Made of sturdy metal and a see through glass-like material. Is most of the time ontop of the helm/forehead. In battle, it will drop down infront of optics and nose structure. The visor is made of dense metal, but has big openings in it, which are filled with an extremely reistant see-through glassy material.

"Scale" armour
- His armour is made of a light, but very tough metal. The armour consist mostly of smaller pieces, that effectively covers most weaker inner parts, unlike big chunks of metal does. The armour is one thing that makes him a formidable endurance fighter; it is more dense than it looks, and has a interesting way of absorbing hits.
- His arms are covered in a wave of small, rounded armour bits, giving the arms a scaly pattern. Thanks to special tiny joints under every small metallic piece, Tracks can turn these scales up to form a spiky cover that is idealistic for gripping onto enemies.

Springspine.
- Tracks has a special, experimental metallic spine construction built into his back. The spine gives him more flexibility, but can also offer a way to power up a punch. The spine can be locked to work like a spring, and once bent backwards and then released, it will send Tracks upper body forcefully forwards and cause his punch-power to double. He isn't built for being a brute, so this is a excellent way for him to deal damage in close combat.

Stabilizers.
- Same stabilizers that he uses when in flight mode, except they are now located under his feet.

Impact absorbers.
- Located in his legs, from ankle upwards.

Ground grip claws.
- Sharp edged, long claws on feet. They give a better grip of the ground. Could also work as a weapon.

Weapons

Rocket launchers.
- Ontop of the big jet turbine engine he carries on his back, are the twin launcher pair, which launch heat seeking incendiary missiles. The missiles can be launched as a pair, or separately. He carries 3 pairs (6 missiles) of those missiles with him, all positioned in the missle holder inside the extra engine. The launchers reload rather slow.

Arm gun.
Tracks' right arm transforms into his gun that looks quite like a heavy machinegun.
-The main barrel fires big hollow-point rounds.
*A hollow point is a bullet that has a pit, or hollowed out shape, in its tip, generally intended to cause the bullet to expand upon entering a target in order to decrease penetration and rip up more damage as it travels through the target. As a side effect, hollow-point bullets can offer improved accuracy by shifting the center of gravity of the bullet rearwards.
- Under the main barrel is a thin, metallic spike, which functions as the "barrel" for Tracks' speciality; the clinging black light beam that effecively blinds anyone it hits for a short time. The beam is very erratic, thus sometimes difficult to hit with. However, the rapidly moving beam also is difficult to dodge just because the fact that you can't know just how it is going to turn.

Sickle blade
- For the mere purpose of butchering someone in close combat. Very rarely used, and when it is used, it is only in a situation where Tracks has managed to lock the enemy close to him, most often with the grip help from the scale armour on his arms. In the of back Track's helm, and neck, is a slightly curved blade, that when realeased will snap up, curving infront of Tracks' face instead. The blade is sharp enough to rip open a faceplate and neck armour... like a very mean can opener.

And I want to add another thing.. Behold:

Weaknesses

Communication
- Tracks doesn't like teamwork. Hence the part of him that is absolutely not developed, is the communicative centre. Commlinking him is hellish unless you are close by, or are a bot with amazing commlink specs. This of course means that it is out of question for him to even try and initiate a link over comm, unless that mech is close by.

Will
- The years of putting all his power and his spark into the war are long gone for Tracks, now it is just a job like any other, just horrible. It takes horrendously big reasons to get him to actually fight all out. Not to mention, he is so damn concerned about his appearance as well, and does not want to get scratches and dents.

Unstable flight
- The energy field that keeps his alt mode hovering is actually created by Tracks, and drains power quite a lot. Not to mention, a change in Tracks mood might throw the power off balance; if he gets really angry for some reason, the energy field will expand and the flow will grow wild. This might result in losing control.
- And in general, the flight mode of the vehicle is a constantly lethal thing since the speed is really fast, and just a little error in manouvering might send him crashing into a wall and killing himself.

Reluctant close-combat
- Dislikes close-combat since it leaves horrid marks and dents on his frame. Tends to be too careful in a brawl, trying not to lash out and get himself scratched/dented, and often ends up underrestimating the enemy.

Bared arm joints
- Raising the "scale armour" on his arms bares weak points under the armour.

Light armour.
- Even if his armour is tough and can withstand the most, a row of vicious hits will result in the hit power seeping through the metal, bending it, and crushing the armour against Tracks' inner systems along with the power of the hit.
